Lovely first video! The last (and first) time I made roux I failed miserably and haven't dared attempt it again, but I think I'll go ahead and make your cream corn - it seems simple and straightforward!
I also like that you don't specify how to flavour the recipe because indeed, it is very much up to one's own tastes.
Every day at the supermarket in which I work, I am asked "How is this product?" and I usually do not know the answer. From here on out, whenever I am asked by a customer how something is, I will buy it, try it that night, and blog about it.
